Grok Bot gets its own email address as SpaceXAI's always-on agent keeps expanding
SpaceXAI's Grok Bot got a second upgrade this week: its own email address. Per the announcement on X, the Bot's inbox can be used to sign up for services, contact businesses on the user's behalf, or schedule time with someone. Addresses end in @mail.grokbot.com, and users claim one by asking the Bot or tagging @bot on X; custom addresses are offered if available.
It follows an earlier-in-the-week intelligence upgrade that switched Grok Bot to Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, plus native X search, read and monitoring without a connector. Grok Bot is SpaceXAI's always-on agent layer on macOS and iOS, aimed at SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor-tier subscribers.
The pace of agent launches keeps ratcheting: Meta's free Muse agent just shipped on iPad with new connectors, and OpenAI is building out ChatGPT Dot, its Astra-powered proactive agent. Giving an AI agent a real email inbox is a practical power-up — and another surface where misuse controls will get tested.
