Atlassian and OpenAI announced October 6 an expansion of their partnership to embed OpenAI's advanced GPT-6 models into Atlassian's enterprise software ecosystem.

The integration leverages Atlassian's Teamwork Graph and enterprise data to translate knowledge into actionable outputs across tools such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket, aiming to change how teams plan, build and deliver work.

The move deepens the enterprise-AI footprint of GPT-6, following OpenAI's DevDay push into workplace agents and its new Sign in with ChatGPT program that lets plan usage flow into partner tools.
