AWS adds xAI's Grok 4.7 to Amazon Bedrock with a 500K context window
Amazon Web Services announced on September 28 that xAI's Grok 4.7 is available on Amazon Bedrock, adding the model to the Bedrock catalog with a 500K token context window. The model supports text and image input and offers four configurable reasoning effort levels.
The AWS Machine Learning Blog describes Grok 4.7 as a frontier model built for coding, long-running agents, and knowledge work. xAI's own launch pricing starts at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens, with a fast variant at twice the output speed for twice the price.
The addition lands one week after xAI first released Grok 4.7 and deepens the model's enterprise distribution alongside its availability in Cursor, Grok Build, the xAI API, and routers including OpenRouter, Vercel, and Cloudflare.
