Meta's Muse personal AI agent is now available on Instagram. Users can add their Muse directly to their Instagram profile, where it appears below the bio, bringing the agent beyond the standalone Muse app and WhatsApp where it first launched.

The rollout was announced by Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang, who framed it as a way to show off "your superintelligent sidekick to all your friends." Once added, the Muse agent can complete tasks for the user from within the Instagram experience.

The move extends Muse's distribution into Meta's biggest consumer surfaces after Instagram and Facebook, and comes days after Meta launched 'Meta One' subscriptions for AI features across its apps. Muse reached 3.4 million downloads and briefly topped ChatGPT as the No. 1 free iPhone app in its launch week.
