OpenAI announced a new Privacy Center in ChatGPT on Tuesday, a section in the account menu that explains what each privacy control does and links directly to the relevant setting. It groups features into three categories: personalized chats and ads, chat privacy, and data use and access.

The Center covers things like memory, personalized chats, ads, data use, apps, and account security. It does not replace the existing controls in Settings — OpenAI says it is meant to help users find them.

It is rolling out to signed-in Free, Go, Plus, Pro, and Business users on the web and on iOS and Android. Enterprise, Edu, and ChatGPT for Healthcare are not included, and which controls appear can vary by plan, region, and workspace.
