OpenAI lists Astra for Law on its API pricing page at GPT-6 Astra's own price: $10 input, $50 output
OpenAI's API pricing page now lists gpt-6-astra-law under "Legal model configurations" at $10.00 per million input tokens, $50.00 per million output tokens and $1.00 for cached input — the same price as GPT-6 Astra itself. TestingCatalog spotted the listing on October 31. The page says the promotional pricing is available at least through December 31, 2026.
Astra for Law is not a separately trained model. When OpenAI introduced it on September 17, it described a configuration that combines GPT-6 Astra with a legal search index and instructions for legal analysis and writing, offered first to selected law firms through Trusted Access in ChatGPT and Codex and "coming soon to the API." The pricing listing is the first public price for it, 44 days after that announcement, and the page names Harvey and Legora among the API customers able to build on it.
The same pricing page puts the life-sciences model gpt-6-rosalind at $15.00 input and $75.00 output per million tokens, with access limited to approved internal research through the trusted-access program, and the cyber model gpt-5.6-cyber at $12.50 input and $75.00 output, next to gpt-5.6-sol at $4.00 and $20.00.
