SpaceXAI has opened Grok for Startups, a credits program that gives approved early-stage companies a single credit balance usable across four products: the Grok assistant, the Grok Build coding agent, the Grok Bot business agent and the Grok API. Applications are live on the company's site, and investors and accelerators can join as partners.

The published terms size credits to a company's funding, revenue and current AI spend rather than quoting a fixed amount, and no dollar figure is published. Startups need venture backing, a live product and a company email matching their website. Approved companies receive 20% of their credits on approval and the remaining 80% after onboarding, and the credits expire six months after they are applied unless the approval says otherwise.

The application page says the form takes about five minutes, that SpaceXAI verifies the company and its funding, and that approved startups can have their first credits the same day. The program mirrors the startup-credit playbook Anthropic runs with Claude for Startups — whose free Team year Anthropic paused for new applicants earlier this month — with the twist that one balance spans a chat assistant, a coding agent, a business agent and an API at once.
